This year’s program will include more than 20 Colorado breweries and numerous breweries beyond Colorado. Almost every brewery will create beer inspired by native plants identified along trails across the country while others will bring specialty place-based beers that they already produce, utilizing local flora. A portion of the Beers Made By Walking Denver Festival proceeds will benefit the Sand Creek Regional Greenway Partnership. The Greenway is a 14-mile public greenway that connects over 100 miles of urban trails in the Denver metro area and links the neighborhoods of northwest Aurora, northeast Denver, and southern Commerce City. A number of the breweries participating in Beers Made By Walking have created beer inspired by this trail.
