The Seattle Beers Made By Walking (BMBW) tasting is here with 11 new trail-inspired beers! BMBW invites brewers to go on nature hikes led by volunteer naturalists and brew beer inspired by plants found on the trail. All of the breweries participating are Partners of the Washington Wild Brewshed Alliance, an outreach program of Washington Wild of over 60 breweries that helps people make a simple connection: healthy watersheds mean clean water, and clean water makes better beer.

In its eighth year, Beers Made By Walking (BMBW) returns to Seattle with a series of hikes meant to unite local brewers and beer fans on the trail! Led by volunteer naturalists and Washington Wild staff, the 11 participating brewers will find inspiration from native plants along the trail for their next craft beer. The resulting trail-inspired beers will be shared at a special tapping event in September at Rooftop Brewing. At this ticketed event, participants can sample all 11 trail-inspired beers with proceeds donated to Washington Wild, a local nonprofit working to protect watersheds.
The participating breweries are Partners of Washington Wild’s Brewshed® Alliance, which currently partners with 62 Washington breweries and brew pubs. This outreach program helps people make a simple connection: healthy watersheds provide clean water, and clean water makes better beer.
