World Beer Festival - Raleigh
April 11, 12-4pm, 6-10pm
Moore Square Park, Downtown Raleigh

Today we are excited to announce a program expansion into North Carolina after building a partnership with All About Beer Magazine. On April 11, we will present a number of unique, place-based beers that reflect a strong connection to local landmarks and flora at All About Beer Magazine’s World Beer Festival Raleigh. Beers are presented in two sessions, from 12:00pm - 4pm and 6:00pm - 10:00pm, at Moore Square Park in downtown Raleigh.

The Beers Made By Walking (BMBW) portion of the festival will include beers from Fonta Flora BreweryFullsteam BreweryG2B Restaurant & BreweryHaw River Farmhouse Ales, and Southern Pines Brewing Company and a cider from Bull City Ciderworks. These beers will include indigenous ingredients that include: native yeast strains, spruce tips, wild flowers, pine needles, and more.

Honoring Beers Made By Walking’s practice of raising funds for local environmental non-profits, All About Beer Magazine is sending a portion of the BMBW proceeds to the Conservation Trust for North Carolina. This organization helps protect natural environments in the state for more than 20 years by working with local land trusts, landowners, communities, and government agencies.

The World Beer Festival Raleigh has two additional components to their event this year. The first is a Belgian Bier Garden with 20 different beers, and the second is a North Carolina Beer component, featuring 40 different breweries from around the state.
